Ruff is a producer and music engineer who made his mark in the industry in 2015 when he produced "Roll up" by Emtee which became a sensation and one of the most requested songs on radio playlists in the years 2015 and 2016. He was responsible for the engineering of Emtee’s debut studio album ‘Avery’, which received more than 10 awards and sold Platinum only 6 months after its release. The 32- year-old has produced over 100 songs since 2015.

He worked closely with Sjava on his debut album, Isinamuva as well as Umqhele, which received album of the year at the 2019 SAMAs.
